Workshop participants in Berlin

On 18 January 2016 the NAMA Facility hosted a monitoring and evaluation workshop in Berlin. Project managers of all 12 NAMA Support Projects selected for support by the Board of the NAMA Facility participated in the workshop. The workshop kicked off with a short presentation by the project managers on each NAMA Support Project. The presenters explained the project structure and concrete envisaged measures, and shed light on how their projects aim to trigger transformational change towards low-carbon development. Succeeding the presentations, the participants discussed the NAMA Facility’s monitoring and evaluation framework and how to comply with its requirements. In smaller working groups the participants had the opportunity to exchange on how to work with the mandatory core indicators, on reduced greenhouse gas emissions or the volume of public finance mobilized for low-carbon investment and development. The event not only served as a learning hub but provided likewise a forum for project managers to link up and build a network for projects supporting the implementation of NAMAs. An additional workshop is planned to be held in the course of the year 2016 inviting a larger audience.

Please find the NAMA Facility monitoring and evaluation framework published in November 2015 (please note this is the latest version of the monitoring and evaluation framework published in June 2020).
