This accessibility statement applies to the website published at Mitigation Action Facility strives to make its online offering accessible without barriers. The information is regularly checked for up-to-dateness and adjusted, most recently on September 30, 2022. A large part of the offer on this website can be used without barriers.

This is based on the legal provisions of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Status of compatibility with the requirements of the BITV


– The existing PDF documents of the Mitigation Action Facility are unfortunately not yet barrier-free but will be revised gradually. Already revised documents are explicitly marked as “barrier-free”.

– New PDF documents of the Mitigation Action Facility as of June 2023 will be created barrier-free according to the PDF/UA standard (DIN ISO 14289-1:2016-12) and marked as such.


– The videos in the Knowledge & Learning Hub aren’t fully accessible, but can partially be watched with subtitles. New videos as of June 2023 will be created barrier-free, with the inclusion of subtitles, transcripts and voice-over description of graphics.
