A mitigation guideline for the Project Concept Phase is now available

We are excited to announce the release of our new Mitigation Guideline. This comprehensive resource provides practical guidance to applicants for the Project Concept Phase. The document covers a range of topics such as general principles, approaches for estimating emission reduction, calculation of emission reductions, and more.

The document aims to support Applicants wishing to participate in the Call for Projects 2023. The submission of Project Concepts will occur exclusively via an Open Application Platform (OAP) that will be accessible from 2 June until 31 July (3 pm CEST) 2023.

The Mitigation Action Facility is a joint initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), UK Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ), the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities (KEFM), the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the European Union and the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF).
