Spotlight on the Detailed Preparation Phase (DPP): what it takes to craft a detailed project proposal

This special feature tells a behind-the-scenes story of this important phase in the NAMA Facility’s overall project cycle. It draws upon the experience and learnings of six NAMA Support Projects across regions and sectors that have undergone or remain in this pre-implementation phase of project development, known as the Detailed Preparation Phase (DPP).

In DPP, projects receive funding to prepare a comprehensive project proposal that will enable projects to meet their desired objectives during implementation and foster carbon-neutral development through sector-specific solutions.  Projects featured include Tajikistan Forestry, Uganda Cookstoves, Cabo Verde Electric Vehicles, the Gambia Grid-Connected Solar PV, Brazil Industrial Energy Efficiency and India Waste.
