Digital solutions for climate action: projects engage virtually while delivering ambitious climate action during Covid-19

To present portfolio learnings over the past two years, particularly based on partner countries’ efforts to continue delivering ambitious climate action and a green recovery in challenging times, the NAMA Facility has released a special feature story “Digital solutions for climate action: NAMA Support Projects engage virtually while delivering ambitious climate action during Covid-19”.

The feature piece draws upon the experience and learnings of seven NAMA Support Projects (NSPs) across regions and sectors that have unique experiences with transitioning to digital formats to adapt to Covid-19 and continue large-scale climate action efforts. Projects featured come from seven partner countries, including Costa Rica, Tunisia, India, Thailand, Brazil, The Gambia and the Philippines.

Various topics are covered, including how NSPs connected with stakeholders and experts virtually, created and use online applications or mobile apps and finally, conducted outreach on project activities via social media. The publication also presents lessons learnt from various projects’ experience with rapidly transitioning to virtual tools.
