The Colombia Transit Oriented Development (TOD) NAMA has reached several important milestones in recent months. The inter-ministerial steering committee CIUDAT staff has continued to meet with cities to help them refine their TOD neighborhood plans and proposals. CCAP has contracted with IDOM to conduct TOD pre-feasibility studies in Cali, Manizales and Pasto; CIUDAT will select a fourth pilot city in the coming months.

The Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) has contracted with IDOM to conduct TOD pre-feasibility studies in Cali, Manizales and Pasto; CIUDAT will select a fourth pilot city in the coming months.
In April 2018 CCAP TOD experts, along with CIUDAT staff, representatives of KfW and IDOM, met in Pasto to meet with city officials and visit the TOD neighborhood under development. Enthusiastic participation from Pasto municipal government stakeholders indicates that the city is committed to the project and can be expected to provide positive early results for the NAMA Support Project.
The CIUDAT Technical Committee meeting in April 2018 included a policy workshop to brainstorm national and local policy recommendations to promote TOD replication. A continuity plan is advancing within FINDETER that would formalize CIUDAT as a jefatura unit under the vice president for planning. Additionally, CIUDAT is developing TOD M&E guidance for cities and working with national ministries to harmonize with the national GHG MRV system.
