This year, the Mitigation Action Facility (MAF) is excited to participate in New York Climate Week 2024, a key global forum focused on tackling the climate crisis. On Thursday, MAF will present a digital introduction to the Facility, offering attendees an overview of our role in catalysing climate finance and supporting sectoral decarbonisation projects worldwide.
MAF is dedicated to funding transformative projects that contribute to the global effort to meet the Paris Agreement goals and reduce emissions in critical sectors such as energy, transport, and industry. Our presentation will highlight how the Facility works, our funding mechanisms, and some of the impactful projects we’ve supported. Attendees will also learn about how MAF partners with both developing and emerging economies to drive meaningful climate action.
