Paper: The Mitigation Action Facility’s Risk Appetite Statement

The Risk Appetite Statement is an articulation of the types and levels of risk the Mitigation Action Facility is willing to accept, tolerate, or avoid, ensuring alignment with its strategic goals.

The Risk Appetite Statement serves as the foundational document of the Mitigation Action Facility’s Risk Management Framework. It offers guidance for managing and directing the overall risk-taking and risk management across all areas of work.

Risk assessments are conducted quarterly and evaluated against the defined risk appetite for each risk category, with the objective of identifying and addressing instances in which a risk assessment exceeds its corresponding risk appetite.
