This is the End-of-project report of the project “Sustainable Urban Transport Program Indonesia (SUTRI NAMA)”. The project was commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in 2011 and implemented by GIZ between 2015 and 2022, in close coordination with the Ministry of Transportation (MoT), Indonesian Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF) and the Committee of SUTRI NAMA National Development Planning Ministry (BAPPENAS).
The report details the activities undertaken by the project team and key public and private stakeholders to meet all project indicators and deliver technical and financial assistance aimed at catalysing transformational change in Indonesia’s urban transport sector. It compiles insights and data from more than five years of implementation and reflects the project’s contribution to Indonesia’s climate commitments and sustainable development goals.
