The Mitigation Action Facility is proud to launch its Transformational Change Measurement Framework (TCMF) – now available as a practical multipager and explainer video.
Climate mitigation projects are time-bound, but transformational change takes time. The TCMF bridges this gap: it helps projects track not only direct emission reductions but also their contribution to deep, systemic shifts that pave the way for a carbon-neutral future.
Grounded in our Theory of Change, the TCMF guides projects to plan, monitor, and learn along three dimensions:
- Demonstration effect – proving that solutions work in practice.
- Catalytic effect – shaping markets, policies, and mindsets for scaling.
- Additional GHG savings – unlocking long-term emissions reductions beyond the project’s scope.
