Launch of new factsheet series: Key learnings from the Mitigation Action Facility’s portfolio

May 21, 2025

The Mitigation Action Facility is excited to launch its new Evaluation & Learning Factsheet Series, transforming project results into concise, visually engaging knowledge products. These factsheets spotlight lessons learnt and lasting impacts from our portfolio, drawing on both final and mid-term Evaluation and Learning Exercises (ELEs).

The series kicks off with a deep dive into the Thailand – Rice project – a pioneering effort to reduce emissions in Thailand’s rice sector while improving farmers’ resilience and incomes. From the adoption of sustainable rice cultivation techniques to the development of a national certification system, the factsheet distills key outcomes, innovations, and implementation insights that offer a model for low-emission agriculture.

As the first completed project to feature in the series, the Thai Rice Factsheet showcases how targeted incentives, capacity building, and national policy engagement can drive large-scale transformation in agriculture. The insights and learnings can be pivotal for other projects or initiatives aiming to enact positive transformational change.

Each factsheet in the series provides a structured snapshot of project goals, measurable results, sustainability outlooks, and key takeaways. Designed for a wide range of target audiences, the series responds to recommendations from the Facility’s 3rd Interim Evaluation to enhance internal learning and external outreach through practical, shareable knowledge.
