The Climate Weeks scheduled for 2025 are strategically aligned with the intergovernmental processes under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. They play a key role in translating global climate decisions into concrete actions on the ground.
The second Climate Week of 2025 will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from September 1 to 6, 2025, at the Addis International Convention Center. This important regional event will continue to foster regional and global collaboration on climate action, with a strong emphasis on local priorities and solutions.
Projects from our Africa portfolio will actively participate on site. The Kenya – Small Vehicles E-Mobility project will be present, joined by two of our other projects from the Africa portfolio – Kenya Post-Solar Cooling and South Africa Steel – convening events and partnering with other organisations.
