London Climate Action Week

June 22, 2026

London Climate Action Week was founded in 2019 by E3G in partnership with the Mayor of London. Its mission is to harness the unique power of London for global and local climate action.

Mitigation Action Facility at London Climate Action Week 2026

The Mitigation Action Facility is pleased to participate in London Climate Action Week (LCAW) 2026, engaging with partners, policymakers, climate finance practitioners, and sector experts to advance discussions on transformational climate action.

Throughout the week, representatives from the Technical Support Unit will contribute to a range of events and dialogues on climate finance, sector transformation, and the implementation of ambitious mitigation action in developing and emerging economies. The Mitigation Action Facility’s Head of the Technical Support Unit will also participate in selected speaking engagements, sharing insights and lessons learned from supporting ambitious climate mitigation projects across the Facility’s global portfolio.

As part of our engagement, the Mitigation Action Facility will convene an invitation-only Transport Policy Roundtable Breakfast on 24 June. Bringing together leading experts from international organisations, development finance institutions, and sustainable mobility networks, the roundtable will explore the policy, financial, and institutional enabling conditions needed to scale investment in sustainable transport systems. Discussions will help inform an ongoing analysis on transport sector transformation and contribute to recommendations that will be launched ahead of COP31.

Through these engagements, the Mitigation Action Facility seeks to foster knowledge exchange, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to global efforts to accelerate ambitious, inclusive, and sustainable climate action.
