Climate Week NYC is the world’s largest climate event, hosted by Climate Group as a global platform for advancing climate and economic progress at scale. Held from 20 to 27 September 2026 alongside the UN General Assembly, it convenes leaders from business, government, finance and civil society, with this year’s edition organised around the theme Energy. Impact. Action. As energy systems are redesigned, electricity demand rises and supply chains come under pressure, the focus is on moving from climate ambition to implementation at scale.
The week opens with the Opening Ceremony on Monday 21 September, followed by The Hub Live on 21 and 22 September, featuring three flagship plenaries alongside dozens of breakouts, side events and executive roundtables. The wider Events Program spans twelve themes, with adaptation and resilience, education, youth leadership and the just transition running across all of them.
Each year, Climate Week NYC draws more than 100,000 people to over 1,000 events across New York City, with hybrid and online options for participants worldwide.
