In 2025, the Mitigation Action Facility continued to expand its portfolio and strengthen its role as a catalytic instrument for supporting transformational climate mitigation in emerging markets and developing economies.
In 2025, 35 projects were actively supported, including 16 projects receiving fully funded Proposal development support, 17 projects in implementation and two discontinued projects.
Portfolio developments reflect continued growth and a balanced distribution across regions and sectors, including energy, industry, transport and cross-sectoral projects.
